Overview:
Pillow Plates, also known as Dimple Plates or Bulged Plates, are specialized heat exchange surfaces designed for a variety of industrial applications. These plates are fabricated through an innovative inflation process where two thin metal sheets are spot-welded together across their entire surface using either laser or resistance welding techniques. The edges of the pillow plates are sealed by seam welding, except for the areas designated for connecting ports. Subsequently, the space between these metal sheets is pressurized with hydraulic fluid, causing them to deform and form their characteristic wavy or dimpled surface.

Brief Introduction:
The improved and upgraded bulging plates are welded into wide channel plate heat exchangers for use in salty wastewater incineration devices. Since the wastewater contains a large amount of inorganic salts, high concentrations of dust are generated in the flue gas after incineration, and the salt easily corrodes metal materials. The wide channel plate heat exchanger used in this situation effectively controls the dust accumulation problem on the flue gas side of the heat exchanger by controlling the flue gas side spacing, plate height, etc.

Advantages:
(1) High dust and high temperature adaptability:
The flue gas inlet temperature is 479℃, and the outlet temperature drops to 348℃. The plate material S30408 is resistant to high temperature oxidation. The wide channel design (control of the flue gas side spacing) effectively alleviates the deposition of high-concentration dust (generated by incineration salt) and reduces the risk of blockage.The cold side air is heated to 317℃, and the heat load is 2400kW, achieving efficient waste heat recovery and improving system energy efficiency.
(2) Salt corrosion resistance and low resistance design:
S30408 stainless steel material can withstand chloride ion corrosion from salt-containing flue gas and extend the life of the equipment.The hot side resistance is only 400Pa, and the wide channel reduces the impact of dust accumulation on pressure drop, ensuring smooth flow of flue gas.
(3) Large-flow flue gas treatment capacity:
The flue gas flow rate is 31,000 Nm³/h. By optimizing the plate height and flow channel width, stable operation is ensured under high dust media. The cold side air flow rate is 20,820 Nm³/h to match the heat recovery requirements.
