Overview:
Designed for high-energy-consuming industrial scenarios, it uses ceramic honeycomb heat storage technology and converts waste gas heat energy for reuse through a waste heat recovery system, increasing thermal efficiency to more than 85%. It is suitable for high-temperature industries such as metallurgy and glass manufacturing, significantly reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions, and achieving a win-win situation for production and environmental protection.

This integrated incineration system supports a 100,000 TPY methyl methacrylate (MMA) production facility, processing:
(1) Concentrated process wastewater: 9600 kg/h
(2) Biochemical wastewater: 3000 kg/h
(3) Heavy component waste liquid: 1264kg/h with incineration temperatures of 950~1100℃
Flue gas treatment includes:
(1) Heat recovery via waste heat boiler + high– temperature plate heat exchanger.
(2) SNCR denitrification (ammonia/urea injection).
(3) Quench tower + semi-dry acid removal + dust filtration for compliant emissions.
(4) By produces 22 t/h of 4.3MPaG/435℃ superheated steam for process reuse.
The system comprises a waste liquid incinerator, heat recovery unit, SNCR denitrification system, semi-dry scrubber, wastewater stripping column, induced draft fan and exhaust stack, with a total footprint of 60m x 30m.
Theory:
The RTO is comprised of insulated chambers filled with high-temperature ceramic media. During operation, the polluted air enters the oxidizer through an energy recovery chamber, where the ceramic media preheats it before introducing it to the oxidation chamber. As the air moves through the bed, its temperature rises rapidly. The oxidation reaction takes place in the combustion chamber, converting the pollutant-laden air into CO2 and water vapor, releasing a significant amount of thermal energy.
The hot, clean gas exits through the second recovery bed, leaving the heat in the ceramic media. In the next cycle, the process stream flows in reverse, utilizing the stored heat to preheat the incoming air. By periodically switching the inlet, outlet, and purge processes, the flow changes direction in the oxidizer, completing the preheating, oxidation, heat storage, and release stages. This heat storage process allows the thermal energy released during oxidation to be reused, reducing fuel consumption for preheating.
To maintain optimal heat recovery efficiency, the direction of the process stream is regularly switched using automatic diverter valves controlled by the PLC system.
